Marvel brings "Halo" love to comic books

Marvel and Bungie said today Marvel will ship a 128-page color graphic novel anthology of tales set in the Halo universe in July.

Contributors include French comics artist Moebius, Phil Hale, Ed Lee, Tsutomo Nihei, Jay Faerber, Andrew Robinson, Simon Bisley, and Lee Hammock. There will also be a gallery, with professional comic artists and Bungie's internal art team contributions.

Marvel has exclusivity with Bungie for the comic rights to the Halo series -- so there should be a lot more coming.

Understand, I'm a comic book fanboy. And I'm a video game geek. And I really like Halo. If they do a cartoon and I can't get in on the voice acting, I'll likely have an aneurism.
